The RecycleHub is a smart, mobile workstation designed to support local plastic recycling in a practical, efficient and accessible way. Developed for and by makers, it transforms any location into a functional workspace.
While the actual recycling takes place on separate machines, the RecycleHub facilitates every step around it. A heat-resistant surface allows safe handling of molds and freshly formed parts. Integrated storage keeps tools, flakes and molds close at hand. The compact format fits into small spaces and is easy to move, making it ideal for schools, workshops and events.
Built from durable birch plywood and recycled plastic elements, the RecycleHub reflects a circular mindset in both form and material use. It is designed to be produced in makerspaces using standard tools and sheet materials, enabling educators, students and creative entrepreneurs to engage with recycling through direct action.
